The cut-off/Qualify marks for UCEED 2024 part A are the following for different categories:
 1. General - 69.89
 2. OBC-NCL & EWS - 62.90
 2. SC/ST/PwD - 37.95

1. Part A of the UCEED exam covers various topics:
Visulization and Spatial Ability: Assess understanding of transforming and manipulating 2D shapes and 3D objects, as well as spatial relationship. Also, test knowledge of mechanical and scientific concepts.
Observation and Design Sensitivity: Evaluate the ability to detect hidden properties in ordinary things, people, situations, and events. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and discerning subtle differences in visual properties are key.
Environmental and Social Awarness: Test general awareness of environmental factors and their implications on design. Also, assess understanding of social and cultural connections with design, history of designed artifacts, and eventually sustainable design responses.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning: Evaluate the ability to discern patterns in qualitative or quantitative information, weigh opinions, and check for hidden bias. Includes tasks like data interpretation, brainteasers, and identifying patterns.
Language and Creativity: Assess proficiency in Standard English, including reading comprehension and grammar. Also, evaluate creative thinking abilities, such as generating innovative options and thinking outside the box.
Design Thinking and Problem Solving: Test the ability to use visual analogies metaphors, and symbols to understand complexity, identify problems, generate alternatives, evaluate options, and select solutions.

2. Part B(Subjective Section): Part B of the UCEED exam will have one question which will test the candidate's ability to draw products, people or scenes in proportion with good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective, and shading.

According to the UCEED 2024 information brochure, candidates must upload the following documents:
  •   1. Recent color photograph showing full frontal view, with the head centered in the frame covering 70%-80% of the photograph. The photo should be taken within the last six months and in JPEG/jpg format only.
  •   2. Scanned copy of candidate's full signature on white paper, also in JPEG/jpg format.
  •   3. Qualifying examination certificate, if the candidate appeared in 2023, OR a certificate from the school/college principal(in the given format-Appandix 1) for students appearing in 2024.
  •   4. Category Certificate, if applicable.
